Baise traveling 2010

Me and Xiyangyang are traveling around Guangxi and making rock climbs. Baise was he second place on our tore after Fengshan.

Day 10
We left fengshan for beise, a 5 hour bus ride. We found somewhere to stay and then went for a walk. We when to get something to eat and then walked around the town. The food was interesting and we found out that there was going to be a dragon boat race the next day.

Day 11
We went out to explore Baise. To day is the start of Duanwojie. This is a festival where people eat sticky rice and paddle dragon boats. Baise has a big river so there are several active dragon boat teams.
Baise has also been made famous for its military importance in the second world war. It has lots of parks dedicated to this and quotes written in stone about the speeches made here.
